Here (A Poem)

Here

A Poem By William Louison

I’m here

Or at least I think that I am

And you’re there

But I haven’t quite figured out where that is yet

But is it really a coincidence

The way I feel when I see you

And if it all boils down to nothing

Why do I keep going back to that first day

I can’t find words to illustrate it

Because the only picture I see is your face

I don’t have the means to examine this feeling

I can’t find a common ground

It’s like I’m not thinking for myself

Only doing what I wanted

And it took me this long, I guess

To realize

That beyond all doubts

All I ever wanted

Was you

There’s a subtle comfort to be had

In a fact such as this

I know that I will be alright

Because I finally realize that I am here

And wherever here is

I know that you are here with me

Thanks for reading!

Till Next,

-Will
