An Inspiring Award…Round 4

I have to say thanks again to everyone who nominates me for blog awards, it means a lot. They encourage me to keep blogging because I really feel like at least someone out there is interested in what I have to say. Why you would be…well, that’s another discussion.

This is now my fourth time receiving the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. Not much has changed since the first time – see that post here.

I wanted to make a quick shout-out to the blogger who nominated me, though. Her name is C. J. Sullivan and her blog is A Journey Of A Soul. You should all go check out her blog because it is not only inspiring, but it’s funny at times and filled with lots of good advice. It’s all mostly centered around writing, but that doesn’t mean that anyone can’t enjoy it.

C. J. Sullivan is a kind person, extremely encouraging, she’s supportive of other Indie authors and she’s a pretty good writer, too. If you want to know anymore about her I recommend checking out her blog. Also, come back next Wednesday here because she’s my next guest blogger.

So thanks to her for the nomination, and thanks to everyone else for the support. I’d just like to mention a few other blogs who were not on my first list (because I wasn’t following them at the time) but I think deserve this nomination as well.

Valerie Demetros – The Writing Life

Lily Paradis

The Smaller Half

That’s about all I’ve got to say.

Thanks for reading,

Till Next,

  1. Thanks so much! I greatly appreciate the nomination. It means a lot to me that other people enjoy reading what I write. It would be an exercise in futility without readers like you. =]

    • Thank you! I’m glad that you’re so excited and I agree with you. When I first started blogging, I definitely thought it was an exercise in futility. It’s nice to know you have readers who like, appreciate and are interested in what you have to say. You have an awesome blog. Keep blogging and keep smiling! 🙂

  2. Oh my goodness! Thank you so much, this seriously made my day! Sometimes I think that no one ever reads my mindless rants, much less appreciates them! Also, congrats to you for being nominated! 🙂

    • Of course I read your blog. Unfortunately one reader doesn’t count much…maybe you should consider deleting it before you get too popular and threaten mine. LOL Only kidding! PLEASE don’t delete your blog. I love it and I’m sure others do, too. Besides, we nerds to stick together. 😉

      • Darn! You’ve caught onto my evil plan to overthrow WordPress one blog at a time, starting with yours! Guess I’ll have to rethink that one… 😉

On a side note, I read Messages while I was at work today and it was amazing! You’re really talented! Definitely going to recommend it to other people that I think would enjoy it.

    • Awe! Thanks so much! I’m always more nervous about poetry because people can interpret it different ways. Especially Messages because it starts out with a bit of uncertainty, and then there is some definite angst throughout. Not to mention all of the depressive stuff…but I hope I got the overall ‘Message’ across. Pun intended, by the way. Oh yeah, and if you recommend it to any friends, the Kindle version is only $0.99 right now. That’s a heck of a deal for how much poetry comes with it. So really, thanks so much for the encouraging thoughts. 🙂 Just going to point out – for no particular reason, mind – that a review on Amazon would be nice… 😉

      • Oh I’ve written plenty of angsty, depressing poetry myself, but nothing that is really ready for the world. Or that really will ever be, most likely. It’s pretty awful, subject and writing wise. It was actually called 8th grade. Just kidding… sort of.

But really, it was good! And I’ve never actually written a review on Amazon but I’ll figure it out, haha 🙂

  3. Wow, thanks so much for that! I’m truly touched and pleased that someone is enjoying what I write. Congrats on your nomination. I’ve enjoyed finding you.

    • You’re very welcome. Hopefully I’m not the only one enjoying what you write, and hopefully some of the weirdos that read my blog because they have nothing better do click onto your blog and start reading that one, too. 😉 Only kidding. They’re not weirdos (well, not ALL of them).
