Resurrection (A Poem)

Another year has come to an end. For me there is just six more hours left. This is a short post because I’m heading out to be with friends shortly. I think one of the highlights of this year – for me – has been this blog. I have a whole string of new posts and ideas for this blog in the new year, and I can’t wait to share them with you. You can also look forward to more of Black Ice, which is coming along quite well I think. My opinion is biased, but I offer it anyway. This is about all I have time for, apart from this poem I’d like to share.

Resurrection

I open my eyes and I see again

I get off the sidelines first steps again

I reach out my hand and I touch again

I breath it all in

                   Resurrection

I listen deep inside and I think again

I don’t want to cry because I’m free again

I look at myself and I’m me again

I breath it all in

                   Resurrection

Happy New Year!
