Falling Star

.

Falling star

Falling slowly

Slowly towards the end

Of things that were

.

But for these things that will be

Or things that are

There is no ground

To fall upon

.

For the fading light

Is fading ever

Faster

Like a sunset in winter

It is gone

Too soon

.

This cannot be

Changed

As easily as we change ourselves

For like a sunset in winter

Or any lonely season

The falling star is fixed

In its ever-moving place

.

Where it settles

Can never be

Known

Except by those who have already seen it

But the ones who have seen

The falling star fall

Do not have the

Means

To speak to us

Anymore

.

Thanks for reading!

Till Next,

-Will
